Do you ever feel like you see things differently?
When I start writing, I inevitably feel myself swallowed by fear. And it’s especially true when I notice that findings from my research are going to challenge long-held beliefs or ideas. ~Author Brené Brown
I began with this quote as it speaks to me in the day to day of what I do and what I stand for. For many years I worked for traditional trainers, utilized integrated therapy, and even worked at a veterinary office. This time and experience was what introduced me to the desire for something more…
A passion and drive to find more harmonizing and natural ways to be with horses and provide them care. For many of you who have found my website, this desire will align with you and hopefully encourage and inspire you to step out and take the journey that is uncommon and sometimes scrutinized.
How do you then take courage and move forward in spite of those who misunderstand and judge you? For me, it was establishing a firm foundation of what I believe, know, and stand for. This comes from listening to your intuition and also putting in the time and effort to not just take advice from every “horse expert” blindly but to research and review information on your own.
What do you do when what everyone else is doing isn’t working for you?
Have you ever made a decision you were confident about, began down the path, only to find an endless crowd of people who suddenly appear to tell you that you are going the wrong way?
Even with over a decade of experience, comfortably and happily on my path, I come across those who feel the need to inform me of how crazy, wrong, or even uneducated I am… Many years ago that would hinder me and make me question myself and what I know regardless of what I have experienced.
Even today when I blog, do a consult or attend events where I share my viewpoints and experience, I find that I can worry about whose toes I might step on or who might get upset at me… then I think of all of the horses and horse owners I have helped and those who need someone to stand with them and look into things that no one will guide them to look at. That is what drives me to share what I do and continue to empower and guide horse owners down a natural path of health for horses that has been lost and somehow been falsely deemed ineffective.
Finding the answers, confidence, and results.
Many of the clients I work with, come to me with their minds swarming with opinions, facts, options, products, and even fears… I am here to clarify what is buzzing around in your head so you can make a clear and confident decision in your horse’s care.
Sometimes that can be through one on one consultations tailored to your horse’s current needs and situation. Other times it is through our online courses and memberships that will provide clear, no-fluff, empowering information that will serve you for years to come!
How we help you get from frustrated and overwhelmed to clear and confident is completely up to you! No more drowning in a sea of opinions or feeling like you are failing your horse. When my horse Pokey’s health began to fail and nothing I had been taught to do or was told to do helped, I felt defeated and heartbroken.
To find peace while your horse is experiencing health concerns is a process that begins by empowering yourself with information on what caused the concern, how it could have been prevented (if possible), and what can be done now. This is very different than getting a diagnosis, administering directed treatment for the rest of the horse’s life… It is also important to remember that as long as you feel overwhelmed, confused and frustrated your horse’s ability to return to health will be hindered.
If you are ready to get results, confidence, and the information you need to help support your horse’s health naturally, I invite you to grab your copy of my book Healthy as a Horse, Click here to reserve your copy now. It’s time to discover a forgotten framework of care that will transform your horse’s health!
